Greeting from Sammy

Dear Friends, once again i bring you greetings from Rain Edge Centre. Wishing you all a blessed 2012!!

Friends I cant express myself fully how much you have meant to us through out the year 2011!! You have been such a source of encouragement. When the lights seemed to grow dim again and again you came to our help. I pray that the good Lord who sees in darkness will reward you in broad day light and cause you to prosper in all your undertaking. 

On the 1st we will mark such a great day at the Lake as men and women with such charitable hearts undertake to get into the cold water just for us out in Kenya to get a roof on the school!! This is amazing, thanks a million for committing yourself to go to that length just to make the dream of education become a reality to us out in Nakuru Kenya. We will be having the school develop to the next primary level and a new intake in the lower classes  with such a waiting list.

I want to thank you also who has choosen to become sponsors to the success of the project. May the good Lord continualy favour you!

For 100 kr i måneden kan du gi et barn fra et fattig hjem muligheten til å lære å lese og skrive.
For 200 kroner kan du gi et foreldreløst barn skolegang og en trygg oppvekst.
For 300 kr i måneden kan du gi en foreldreløs ungdom et hjem og mulighet til utdanning.
Patrick står foran tavla i det nye klasserommet
For pengene som kom inn i forbindelse med Nyttårsbadet på Lyseren, har vi nå bygget tak på fem nye klasserom. Patrick (12) er en av elevene ved barneskolen Living Fountain Academy som er kjempeglad for dette!

Et stort antall tilskuere var tilstede da en gjeng tøffinger hoppet i Lyseren 1. januar. Tilsammen hadde de fått løfte om 24 500 kr i sponsorstøtte mot å gjennomføre isbadet.

Ved barnehjemmet har noen av guttene startet en dansegruppe, og i løpet av kort tid har de blitt kjempeflinke. I desember gikk de faktisk helt til topps i en nasjonal dansekonkurranse for barnehjem.
